All three links....
“View Mentioned Posts”, “View All Mentions” and “Unsubscribe from Mentions” links work great.

Tested "View Quoted Post" and "View All Mentions" buttons in quoted notification. (Should this be "All Mentions" or "All Quoted"?)

Tested "View Mentioned Post" and "View All Mentioned" buttons in mentioned notification.

Did not test "Unsubscribe from Quoted" and "Unsubscribe from Mentions" because I couldn't find how to turn them back on in User Control Panel so I didn't want to chance it. I'll test them if you tell me how to get them back on after the test....

Bob.

Thanks @bobwest. There isn't the ability to view all quoted, so we fallback to view all mentions.

Hey guys,

Updated the daily digest thread notifications email to the new format. This won't be able to be tested until tonight/tomorrow morning, so please report any problems with the new format.

Most people are on instant email updates, the daily digest is a once a day format.

Mike

Well, as it turns out, I accidentally copy/pasted the Private Message template into the daily digest template... so a few thousand emails for the daily digest went out with all blank/missing and otherwise "WTF is this??" kind of wording/styling...

I've updated, so we'll test again tomorrow and see if it works.

Hi @Big Mike, I just woke up to a change in the instant email notification to subscribed threads. The buttons used to be "View Newest Post" and "Reply to Post," and now the Reply to Post option has been replaced with "Change Frequency," which I did not understand. When I clicked on it, I went to the subscriptions page, and I had no idea what to do then. I figured out eventually that I could change my subscription options, which includes how often I'm notified, and the light dawned (I didn't even know there was such a thing as notification frequency, to be honest.) I could also change anything else about my subscriptions there too, which could be something a user would want to do after receiving a subscription notification.

I can see that the old "Reply to Post" is a bit redundant, and a user might just want to change their subscription options, including unsubscribing to the thread, but in that case perhaps labeling that button something like "Change Subscriptions" or "Subscription Options" might be more clear, if this was the idea of the change.

Bob.

Thank you @xplorer for reporting a problem with the Downloads section. It seems it was adding an underscore (_) character to files instead of using a space " " character, and in the case of particular files like Market Replay data for NinjaTrader, this can cause confusion/problems.

I investigated and while I am not sure why this change happened recently (not sure what triggered it), I was able to find the code from the Downloads plugin where it was replacing spaces with underscores.

I imagine it was doing so for compatibility with very old browsers (its an old script). So I believe it's completely safe to change it and remove that, which is what I did -- letting spaces remain in filenames.

Please report any problems with files within the Download section, this change affects only that.

Also thank you to @bobwest for helping me test.

Thanks @bobwest. I am really constrained on width of the phrase/wording to fit two buttons side-by-side on older phones as well, forcing brevity. Otherwise I have to move to have buttons on top of each other instead of side-by-side, further pushing the actual content further down on the page (less ideal).

But I agree and am to suggestions on how to better convey that the button will allow the member to alter the frequency in which they receive email updates regarding this (and other) threads. Options are none, instant, daily, weekly.

Any other suggestions from others, hopefully in maximum of two short words?

Also need to try to keep both buttons roughly the same length of characters to make them uniform.

I could try changing the first button as well, such as "View Post" instead of "View Newest Post". Then maybe "Alter Subscription" or "Change Subscription". What we really need is a better word to convey its the frequency in which they receive the emails...
