futures io is the largest futures trading community on the planet, with over 90,000 members. At futures io, our goal has always been and always will be to create a friendly, positive, forward-thinking community where members can openly share and discuss everything the world of trading has to offer. The community is one of the friendliest you will find on any subject, with members going out of their way to help others. Some of the primary differences between futures io and other trading sites revolve around the standards of our community. Those standards include a code of conduct for our members, as well as extremely high standards that govern which partners we do business with, and which products or services we recommend to our members.
At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. To succeed, you need to surround yourself with the right support system, educational content, and trading mentors – all of which you can find on futures io, utilizing our social trading environment.
With futures io, you can find honest trading reviews on brokers, trading rooms, indicator packages, trading strategies, and much more. Our trading review process is highly moderated to ensure that only genuine users are allowed, so you don’t need to worry about fake reviews.
We are fundamentally different than most other trading sites:
We are here to help. Just let us know what you need.
We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.
You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple.
I've added a new feature to the site, nicknamed "Trader's Edge", where we'll highlight some of the best discussions and indicators on the site.
Please register on futures.io to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers. 6) Help using the forum? Watch this video to learn general tips on using the site.

This is one of the most beneficial additions to the site in recent memory. Thanks for the upgrade, I really enjoy this. Although the multiple efforts are helpful through out the forum, it is good to have a focus at times, or feature. Moving forward, how will you decide on the featured items? Is this by volume (# of posts, etc.), or by another selection process? Love it!

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I was beginning to wonder if anyone noticed
This is part of a long-term plan of several major upgrades to the site. Going forward, stories will be selected based on a combination of everything you stated. The general idea is how beneficial it is to the viewer, and/or how unique it is to the site. Right now the stories are being picked by me manually, but I'm trying to be as objective as possible. Feel free to make suggestions.

No specific feedback at this point, I guess I was more curious than anything on the content. I guess some of the 'wizards,' or 'experts' would be the contributors that I would lean on for their advice on the must-haves in the Trader's Edge. With that said, I might get more opinionated as I move forward, who knows.

front page def sells, my volstop download number jumps from 2 to 10. But the size is too big can it be in some kind of scrolling window 1/2 of its current size?
I will make it collapsible like the other modules as soon as I have some time to do so.
Also, it's part of a bigger picture, eventually the home page will be a landing page to jump off from and won't contain the category forum listing directly as it does now. Instead, it will just contain some recent posts, threads, top 10 lists, traders edge, and some other new stuff I am working on.
Most users are on the forum are intimidated by it, such as "I don't know how to..." and the list goes on from there. The forum will be built for these users as the majority, and is aimed at trying to gain their participation in the forum itself.
However, I always try to make it so power users can skip over the newbie type stuff. I'm a power user too, I am on this forum 12 hours a day, I don't want to navigate stuff I don't need either
