Hi Howard,

A lot of Elite Members only want to share inside of the non-public section of the forum. So they have the option to do so here, and since most active participants on the forum are Elite, I don't think it would diminish your chances of winning the contest to do so. But the choice is yours.

Forgive me for belaboring this. I have always found that to learn a subject well, one should teach it. The major benefit to me will be the feedback and questions I will get and my ability to answer them effectively. I want to locate where I can do some good for the readers and where I can add depth to my own understanding of my trading strategy. I'm simply too new here to appreciate the culture here (every forum has one) and where I can best accomplish my goals.

The two forums are equal in my eyes.

Traders Hideout currently has 31,820 posts. This includes subforums.
The Elite Circle currently has 30,842 posts. This includes subforums.

The choice is yours, start your thread based on where you feel most comfortable. I want to also take the opportunity to say thanks to all the members who have posted contest in the Elite section to make it what it is today

I thought that is what any kind teacher should do, tell you what to do and how to do. If there are lot of people waiting for that means there are lot of potential students. I agree, some people have no desire to spend time and learn or work, just want to count the money. I would not say is most of them here though (at least not active members). This forum wouldn't be what it is if most people just wanted to count money doing nothing.

I don't expect that. That was my point from the start. Some1 that has something valuable to share, that is willing to put time and efforts in teaching others, is not very likely to do that for free. Potentially winning an iPad is not a reason. That is more like a symbolic prize.

Well.. there are a few similarities. I "sit at home" and I am "unemployed" too, if that means working for some1 else. But that's about all. I weight my options very well and i only act when i know i have a good RR, to say so.

I left my job 7 years ago (i was working in a bank as network administrator) when i was already making more money online then my salary. After being on my own for couple years I started an online business (along with 2 partners) that netted about $1.5M in 5 years (not a fortune, i know, but decent for me) and doing some other things on the side. I am at my desk 16h a day, every day, and when i am not working for my biz, i am trying to learn about trading.

You are right though about what you said about SIM trade and stuff. First time i thought about trading was 5 or more years ago, before my online biz. I could not afford though to buy access to datafeeds, buy software and so on. Generally, today is much easier from that point of view. For me in particular, is more complicated. I now have a family to support, a business to take care of, etc. Most of what i know and how i make money was self thought, but back then i had no worries. Now, if i can do something to avoid spending 7 more years to learn trading, i will.
