I watched Walsh Harvey live day trading videos. I only saw he did Buy and Sell market orders and never saw anywhere he submitted a stop loss order after opening a position. Can eSignal be configured to automatically submitted a stop loss order after opening a position?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I ran across your eSignal Post. I have asked similiar questions with no response. Big Mike has commented that there are many eSignal traders here but do not post much maybe????
Any way, I found a viedeo on youtube from a place call better trades or something like that. He Shows how to create all kinds of automated strategies in the MMS section of eSignal 12. It looks very promising. I have one set up that as soon as i click "apply MMS strategy it lauches it onto the chart, then you can drag the orders around if you need to. I see great potential in the eSignal platform however I am not a seasoned trader yet to put my money where my mouth is. Lol!
Yes, it can under the Money Management Plaset up the Quantity, Profit in Ticks and Stop in Ticks.
Once it is triggered you can adjust the stops on the charts or via DOM, they will correspond to one another, as you will see stops and targets move on both.
Thanks,
Matt

I am having an issue with the auto stop and limit orders when trading off of the charts in eSignal. When I trade 5 contracts the stop and target are for 1 or 2 only and I have to manually close the balance of the trade when price moves to either.
