I was reading a thread in the vendor review forum comparing Lance Begg and Al Brooks. Then I came across a post that had this statement in it:

"I'd buy joe's trading the emini and then take a 'tte' webinar....."

Sorry for the ignorance, I just don't know what "tte" stands for.

Regards,

Josh.

Can you link to the thread in question? It may also be better to ask in the thread this TTE is contained instead of creating a new thread.

I cannot because my post count is under 5

It's a thread in Vendor and Product Reviews called "Lance Begg vs Al Brooks". Very last post.

This is the whole post, if it helps.

Isubeano,

Does Joe Ross and Al Brooks teach similarly methods?

Yes and no....but more importantly, they compliment each other. Joe is a fantastic teacher, and
a lot of his teachings are free...his chart scan, spead, options scan emailz are all free....

I'd buy joe's trading the emini and then take a 'tte' webinar.....that's all you literally need to trade profitably.

hope that helps.

I think I found it for those who might be interested at some future date. I believe it must be a technique or indicator used by Joe Ross called "Traders Trick Entry". I have no idea what it is or what it does, however

You can find it at tradingeducators. You can also find the slide deck from the class floating around the web if you want to read that first.

Just google tte joe ross and you will find pdf's.

I read about Ross when I first started getting interested in trading. TTE is basically just an entry signal; a pullback in a move ( often called trend) with some form of confirmation, with confirmation measured by some movement in the original trend direction.
Its really just a very very simple entry signal, and certainly used in isolation and out of context, I wouldn't expect too much from it.

Thanks Zwaen. I read a bit on the subject and decided Joe Ross was trying to sell things a little too hard. I do not begrudge people charging for their insights, but when they push I get the feeling trading is not their primary business.

TTE stands for Trader's Trick Entry. Joe Ross teaches about it. It can be very useful and I have been trading it and other methods taught by Joe Ross for years.
