Experienced programmer looking for experienced trading partner

Hi,

I am looking for a trading partner : an experienced professional trader that may be interested in a programmer.
In exchange I can develop tools/indicators/strategies/excel.
I am an experienced programmer, a beginner+ trader (2.5 years full time).

My goal is to share ideas, have feedback, on a daily basis.
I am not looking for a mentor/room.

I have knowledge in Market/Volume profile, price action, order flow. Learned alone and with mentors.
I sim trade daily the bund (overnight) and es (morning). Breakeven+.
I live in Europe.

I program under Sierra Chart and Ninja and have experience with IRT and Market Delta.
I am actually building my methodology (semi-automatic discretionary intraday swings, own tools, based on vwap variations + price action).

If interested in evaluating tools I shared :
* Ninja : ECIDiv (futures.io (formerly BMT) No 14 Top Downloads of all time)
* SierraChart : ECIVwap & ECIAnchorVwap (Sierra 1040+ user contributed studies).

If interested, please PM me.

W.

Ii need help with something

I donít know if this is interesting for you, because maybe itís so simple for you but I canít do it myself.
I program in TradeStation with a 3rd party development name ADE & ELCollections which give me the ability to create values for example in a daily chart and then get these values in another different tick by tick chart in order to trade the big picture. So I want to create something like this idea in NinjaTrader using two different time frames in different charts, even better calculate the values from the Market Analyzer and then export them into 1 minute chart. If there is any charge for this just let me know.
Have a wonderful day.

The correct subforum to hire a programmer is here:

https://futures.io/hire-consultant-programmer/

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

No worries, I was responding to the other poster to let him know this thread was not the right one for him.

Hey...

@wwwingman

If you are trading your own money (not mine), and are looking for a collaborative where proven methods might be exchanged for programming of those methods into strategies and if you promise to to sell or broadcast it if it works for you, we might have something to talk about.

Dan

Hi Dan,

I sim trade. and not looking for money.

My approach is discretionary. I don't auto trade. I can show what I do and why but cannot prove anything.

I am looking for a partner to work with, not for.
The indicator/tools/... we will build together will be "owned" by the partner and me. I am not looking to sell anything.

I am interested. What qualifications or things are you looking to get/give in the relationship/partnership?

What I believe I can give : programming time (1-2h / day) + trader/programmer discussions/ideas.

What I am looking for : an experienced professional discretionary day trader willing to discuss with me daily (45 minutes).

I have no specific technical expectancy from the partner.
