At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. • We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

1561.80 on October 12 2007

You need to look at the cash price, not futures. IQFeed symbol is SPX.XO. Today's cash close was 1519.43.

1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.

Maybe this will help clear it up..

Standard & Poor's (S&P) 500 Index History Chart

I appreciate long term charts like that, they reveal a lot and give you a niche because no one looks at that any more.

PM with any questions about optimusfutures (800) 771-6748 (561) 367 8686. THERE IS A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS IN FUTURES TRADING.

There is no thank you button for you because this is a Q&A thread that you created from the forum homepage Questions box.

As the big blue banner in each post says (only visible to you), you must first click "Answer" to select the post as an answer.

Then the thanks button will be visible after that.
