Welcome to futures io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Works well on the bigger charts as you could see on the few trades I pointed out over the last few months.
I think down to even 30m works well and lately have put a Kase bar on it and that works as well...the more you know about it detail wise the better it is.

Gradient Divergence in Action

This clear RGD would have been a great trade entry to the upside on a lousy TF day.

Not real sure where we go from here...I was looking for 821 and it came within a tick so just waiting to see what happens now.
I suspect it will bumble around this area til it runs into the cloud and then it might go back up the 850 area and then dump through the cloud...just guessing on the last part.

Another possibility is it drops and hits the cloud sooner rather than later and somewhere around the 810 area....the gist of all this is that in my view it will hit the cloud and rise but of course PA will tell the story....

not seeing this kind of behavior very often.

someone was very anxious to get rid of some contracts. doesn't mean anything, just interesting.
