I was looking for a way to easily visualize premarket volume on ES to compare it to past days premarket volume, ideally starting at 4 AM EST. I don't mind using a chart of NYSE or some other source as long as it's an accurate predictor of ES. Screenshot attached of what I'm looking for.

This seems to be available on CQG but I don't have access. Is it possible on Tradingview or Tradovate?

Otherwise, any other suggestions for forecasting the day's volume are welcomed.

Thanks.

Hi Sacragon

Try logging onto CME website, become a member (free) - download their phone app (easier way) and you will have some of your information you seek.

Why do you want to forecast the days volume when it's in the future and you can't yet trade it. Watch the app and trade when it looks good enough for you.
A very basic alternative method would be to place the ATR indy on your chart and mark high levels of ATR = normally high volume.

Personally, I look for liquidity imbalance of Bids / Asks which is a better method for signals to trade from.

Cheers

There was the Jigsaw CSI indicator from a few years back mentioned here:

You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden
