Anyone interested in me trying the get funded scams?
I will do a live small account challenge soon. I am currently biased to short strong rallies in the stock indexes. I am throwing a few trades at my demo top step account and posting results here. I am still under the 1000 dollar daily loss auto close out but it allowed me to go beyond that a few times for some reason.
Anyway my trading in a day swing style my own way has put the account into the green again without too much work.. aka in and out scalping which is difficult work.
Here are results.. from Sunday night set n forget
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Still looking to short into this close but I doubt I will have time.
Taking a break and I might come back today. Positions all closed.
I did this to show that the funded accounts with specific rules set by the company and not yourself are not necessarily conducive to you trading your own style.
If the funded or demo funding prop firms were truly interested in funding traders they would monitor you free of charge and would not give a loss limit to kick you out of funding. They would be more interested in grooming talent that they see for the long haul trade.
Trades for a couple hours after I got up to use the bathroom. My bias here is to long oil on dips and sell stocks on rallies shallow or large rallies for short term day trades
This thread should convince newcomers to learn and trade their own money. As you've noted, funded programs have too many restrictive rules and comes across as a money grab.
