A movement happens in its own time. A weekend, especially holiday weekends can really take some steam out, but I think it is helpful not to think so much in days. Here is a movement I posted in my journal. It is the Yen over 3 weeks

18k

Instead of days, I think volatility, steady push, panic sell-off, consolidation etc.
The different kinds of market behavior have their own time and tell their own story, Dr. Mandlebrot spoke about this extensively. I believe we try to fit them neatly into market hours but they all leave traces don't they?

How does each fragment relate to the next? How fast does panic resolve in each market? Does it have a favored bias?

Stuff like this I ask myself.

Coming, they can't be denied. Going, they can't be detained.
