Anyone ever experience a margin call? If just day trading, flat at eod, what are the chances of it happening intraday? Please tell of your experience if you have!

I personally haven't, but it is very much possible to happen in intraday.

Usual culprit here is general lack of understanding of the product being traded and utilization of broker provided margin or leveraged trading.

A good example of this is selling options, unless you know exactly what you are doing no retail trader should be touching this
