I just joined this "FREE" site and already i see people are being told they cannot discuss or go anywher to talk trading! lol maybe BOB should check himself because with a community of FREE USERS who can come and go as they please to this site which is called traffic then this site would not exist at all!

Your advertisiers are fully aware of what they are paying for and it is obvious that you just want traffic to stay at your site. sorry it may be your
site to CONTROL the masses but without the MASSES of free users and traffic you would not have a site.

Just share your emails back and forth and we can figure out where to go. is that allowed can we share an email or a photo?

tell you what I will build a futuresio code just for users who want to seccretly chat outside of the futuresio FREE BOARD and no one share it with the moderators or GREEDY owners of the site.

TYPICAL. that is like being inside target or walmart and telling people they cannot talk about going on AMAZON to buy stuff cheaper.

just open a discord page with your name and we will check it out for free just like we checked out this site for free.

feel free to block me bob. it will be 1 less person adding traffic thought to your almighty numbers.

LAST I CHECKED USERS WERE NOT FOR PROFIT CORPORATIONS.

the problem with this site is how "NOISY" it is with crap everywhere you look and it is unbelievabley slow to get a real conversation going about anything or to make any real time calls. maybe BOB the mod should spend more time THINKING about how to improve this site rather than just policing it because from what i see here it is much like all the old blogs just plain OLD!!

PEACE

I will say this that the
russell 2000 is no more difficult or easy to trade than any other index.

it actually should be easier on many levels due to the great tick size increments to force fills if only the ES ticked in tenths! then it would be set up for retail
but nope. the big tick size allows the hft and big volume guys at the CME to always and easily maintain book priority without breaking too many messaging rules
then again what is 1000 bucks a day to an hft for breaking those rules as far as a fine is concerned.

if you want to trade the russel successfully then view the R2K as it's own index. do not look to the dow the sp500 or the nasdaq to give you any clarity.
the russell trends very well and for a long duration so if you trade it like the other indexes you will get smoked buy dips and selling rips unless you
are very very patient. but if you are and you know how to hold and add to a winner then there is lost of money to be made in the russell

other than those things it trades just like any other index commodity or stock or currency

So in the energy markets, we have benchmark contracts, and then other products trade at a differential to the benchmarks.

For example in Crude Oil the benchmark contracts are Brent (European North Sea) and WTI (US Midwest). If you want to buy a Nigerian Crude Oil Cargo it will be priced as Brent +/- differential. If you want to trade Mars (a US Gulf crude that comes onshore mostly in Louisiana) it will commonly be priced at WTI +/- differential. Even things like Gasoline or Heating Oil are traded as a (crack) spread to Crude Oil, especially on a longer term basis. In Natural Gas the benchmark is the Henry Hub price in Louisiana and all other locations are traded as basis differentials to that price. Hence if you want the price for Natural Gas in Boston you take the Henry Hub Benchmark and then add the Algonquin (the major pipeline in New England) Basis price to get the final price.

This raises the question. When your trading RTY should you be trading it as an an outright price, or should you be trading it as a spread or ratio to a larger benchmark such as the S&P500.
