Hi,

for Topstep combine, while trading NQ, where do I see the different notations like NQU18, NQZ18 etc? Also, in the combine it says we need to choose the contract with highest volume. How can I check this?

Tomorrow is index roll-date, the volume normally rolls 1 day after the roll-date, so it should roll on Friday.

Here you can see the volume: https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/equity-index/us-index/e-mini-nasdaq-100_quotes_globex.html

As a guide for the Equities, so you can mark up your diary ahead of time and not worry about it for another three months (after this week).
The dates aren't fixed in stone and can vary by a day or two but the equity futures tend to be pretty consistent. Tomorrow, Thursday, the volume will probably be split across the September (U) and December (Z) contracts as people move from one to the other, and then from Friday the highest volume should be in the December contract.

Crude oil is popular at TST. Just in case you look at that in the future be aware that that product rolls over every month. Approx date below.

You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden

Yesterday, we had some insight about the Mini Nasdaq (nasty nasdaq) on our daily blog. Here's a peak if your interested: https://www.cannontrading.com/tools/support-resistance-levels/

Might help you out.
