Hello,

This may be a stupid question but i cant seem to figure it out.

I have recently taken an interest in learning about Market/Volume profile to get a better understandind of market structure. I have noticed that, at least on my 2 platforms, the support/resitance levels (VAH,VAL,VPOC etc...) are sometimes different based on which time frame i plot my indicator on.

Sometimes they are off by several points on the ES and i was wondering if anyone had an explanation for that? i use both Think or Swimm and NT with the dvaluearea indicator and i have the same issue on both.

for examplle, yesterday (6/14/16) i see a VPOC of 2065 on the 30M chart and 2060 on the 15M chart ??????

thanks

it may have something to do with contract roll over. if you are using delay-ed data it can cause that problem. but most of the time the problem is in the set up files running the market profile program. it happens more often if it is a third party add on. every one and there brother are selling add on now. most programs back fill with 1 min. bars .. make sure you are not back filling with tick data or another time frame. hope it helps
