Trading with a 6k account size is absolute insanity.
Trading with a 25k account is the minimum threshold at which I believe your probaility of ruin is such that you can successfully make a living at trading the ES. It won't be easy though.
Trading with a 50k account is the sweet spot of where you want to be.

Trust us on here. You are tapping in to hundreds of thousands of hours of screen time.

Oh and might want to go to this thread where I talk about the probability of ruin, just so you know what I am talking about.

The thing is though I'm not trying to make a living, I just want experience in the real market. So maybe I should pick a different future to trade? Any suggestions?

Just checked it out and now I realize how foolish I must sound wanting to trade a 6k account.

2 or 5 y ( ZF/ZT),german 2 or 5 y (GBS/GBM) ,Eurodollar (GE)-low tick value + very slow market (exept ZF).Or index futures like OMX30,Nikkei 225 Mini,Kospi Mini.There is a lot of posibilities for 5k account - but emini is definitelly not one of them
