Thanks for the info, but I don't see JNM in NT here. I use version 7.0.1000.31. Would you be so kind and provide the details how it is setup on your rig? Thanks in advance.
@Jaba, I was curious about this instrument and fwiw, I've same NT version and it is at least listed in the Instrument Manager even though I don't have a feed for it apparently, maybe check with NT support why it's not there.

If you just started seeing the prices recently, it could be because of some integration that has been happening recently where TOCOM, J-GATE and NASDAQ are tied together.
I keep seeing people ask about "correlations". What do you hope to gain from this? There are many markets that are correlated with each other - a huge number, in fact. This adds nothing to your trading.
Correlations come and go, sometimes its what not correlated anymore that matters. Its very hard to put a precise answer together for this but its always helpful, in my experience to have a few key markets to watch whilst you trade your primary product. Here are some examples that I've found helpful:
At one time when i was trading a particular DAX momentum play, i went over all the data i had on the inter-markets to see if they all went bid and the same time if it might help my success rate, the answer at that time was yes. I could watch the related DOMs after that and if they all were not going bid then i might exit or not take the trade. There's a fine line here too as latency and slippage can come into play. Also, most markets fall into greater correlation as volatility increases.
These are only my experiences, only screen time or solid research will yield useful correlations.
Cheers,
XS

Thank you for the responses. My apologies, I didn't mean to use the term "correlations". I was just looking to understand what other traders watch while trading N225M. As I would like to explore it and learn.
Guys has anyone who has NT7/8 worked out how to get historical data for the product? I've been banging my head against a brick wall trying to get NT support to integrate it!
You need Esignal data access only service.
costs 72 USD basic fee+ 125 USD for non-US futures+2 USd for JPX(OSE)+ 10 or 15 USD for historical data=209USD+VAT. Interactivedata-esignal was aquired from ICE exchange they have increased fees for Non-US futures from 35 to 125USD. ICE EXCHANGE IS GREED

I haven't had any success. I'd be willing to start something for us English speaking folk that'd be interested in chatting about the nikkei. if there is enough interest Skype might be a decent option. Or discord..
I have spoken to NT7 and they have a request list with everyone that would like them to add MJNK (JNM) to their list for supported Futures. I suggest everyone in this forum starts sending them requests to add the 2 Futures from Osaka exchange that have better liquidity then ES apparently.
Please kindly add me as a requester to add mini-Nikkei (JNM) and Nikkei (N225) from Osaka exchange to your supported Futures with historical data.
As your trusted and preferred platform supporter and user I would appreciate if you made it possible for me and other to trade this instrument.
Thank you!

At first I was surprised to see that 80% of recent volume was foreign. These data only include entities with about 30m USD in capital. I wonder if a foreign bank with a trading entity in Japan is considered a foreign participant?
This post doesn't really contribute to the retail trading topic. However I am partially of the bias [or at least curious] that orderflow dominated by domestic retail participants will possibly reflect some predictable cultural personality traits. Where those products are specific to a homogenous demographic. The challenge is finding such instruments.
[Is there another more active NK thread? I couldn't find one.]
ps, hello.

Did any one else book-read the NK up move from around 1030hr/21,000 up to local lunchtime/22,220? Especially in the second half of that range as 22,200 neared. The play around 21,080. Those offered levels around 22,200.
