Does anybody see any issue if I created a group called Crude Oil Trades to post some of my trades I executed on CL? Would this trigger any problems or potential issues? Do you think anybody would hold me liable for this?
I just wanted to get an opinion.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
i dont really see a problem. just throw in a disclaimer saying that my trades are simply ideas and if you choose to trade them then trade at your own risk. Somethin like that
just curious though why would u wanna post ur trades on fb? are u tryin to help out friends or other traders? and are ur calls profitable overall? (if they are lol send me a link to the group)
I agree, I see lots of people posting trades on twitter, I would be concerned on facebook depending how you set it up. If you post a trade without a disclaimer for general consumption you could have a problem. I find twitter a good source of information for trading, I follow about 100 people on twitter and get some good stories/ideas on there.......
Yes Twitter is the best way to do this but you could then set up a Facebook Fanpage and link it to Twitter if you goal is to get people on Facebook to notice it. It would make sense to call it your personal trade journal and, as others have mentioned, make it clear that you are not giving trade calls. "Personal Journal" with the standard disclaimer would work great. Good luck.
