Ive been doing my own journal and making progress but my journals spread out..note book here over their..piece of paper under my chair.

I just made a mistake, simple one to fix but if I add to it everyday on this sight it can become more accountable.

I trade everyday, alot in sim...but going to start another run in real so I want to be accountable to others that enjoy reading ones journey.

i would just start by posting here about your daily activity in the markets being completely open is key too.. also from your side of things there is a nice excel journal that might be helpful:

dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thats simple enough. I'll start tomarrow.

Actually I take 1 or 2 trades each day, even in sim..if the opportunity presents itself ill take a 3rd. Ive learned to be very disaplined and patient.

yesterday i didnt even trade cuz my window past at 0430 and at 0800 I was there for that one but thinking I would wait til after the open and it never came again.

i shall post my effort tomarrow.

I like to take a trade after a close above H3 and stay out of the noise between H3 & L3..thats what Camarilla recomends..guess thats where floor traders make their money..

So I was late took a long, lost about 14 points..stayed way too long. took the nxt close above H3..got some back, didnt close at the top, but u never kno if ur at a top, rite...

Then that last one I have to admit I was distracted by stuff..maybe I didnt notice that divergence..and a ABC structure..complex at that..that was definitly a il-advized trade..spellings screwed up.

Over on TF that looked real good after a close above H3...alot of days on YM it moves that way too.

@Billbb, please start a new thread in the journal section with a new topic for your actual journal, since this one is "How do I...."

This is a critical component-this is what will assist you in growing and improving as a trader. Note in your journal -where ever you decide to compose it- a “why” section: “why you took the trade and why you exited the trade” It is also important to be at your best when you trade. Don’t trade if you are bothered by personal issues that day or in a noisy environment. Trading takes focus and concentration.

I hear that brother!

Over the holidays we had family over & thats where I messed up, over trading and all that, phone ringing, while ignoring it. I was gradually building slow & methodical before all that.

Ive been in sim while refunding some and I plan on going live again.

"Why" section is a good idea and Im gonna start a new post in the journal section. Im gonna post it good or bad, no matter. Im not posting a journal to impress people or to let them know how bad of a trader I may be, its to give me as a trader my own way sorta speak.

Thanks,

Bill
