Yeah...I would love a short description of Kase bars and why you like them...

@Boomer34,

it doesn't look like kase bars in ninja trader and tradestation are the same.

@kbit can explain for tradestation.

for nt, kase bars are about the same like range bars. the only difference is, kase bars don't produce "phantom bars". especially during news when the order book is very thin, you can best see the difference.

kase bars only print where a trade actually took place. range bars just print the whole bar.

@Boomer34

ask @TimeTrade about his bar package, he has settings to make Kase look like tradestation I believe so they will look like @kbit

For a description refer to the vids...
As to why I like them.....they have a way of signaling where significant spots are.

The pinbars especially are great markers...they have significance wherever they get printed...depending on how the succeeding candle prints pretty much tells you how to play it ....I have all the scenarios mapped out but don't want to spend the time to spell it out....There are some older posts I made here that explain most of it.

All the spots I have posted the last few weeks are based on pinbars off a Kase bar chart.....if you have been monitoring those spots you can make the call on how good they are.

I've lost track...but just looking now I see 796.8, 789.3ish, 785ish, 780.5(looks wimpiest), and then just garbage until 769.4 which probably would get taken out when it gets hit ...whenever that is...not saying today.

I'll post something more clear later...still half asleep

Edit: I have 803.9 as the next spot over the current high

I agree...once we break through this 795 area with some momentum, we will hit yesterday's close at 797.3, just a matter of time.

I think it could go either way...kind of thinking it will head towards 788 and maybe the 785 area.

788 is from something else and might be worthless but the point is we might drop...maybe it will hit your spot first though ?

Or maybe I'm totally wrong...it's happened before
