getting slaughtered today. sob...oh yes kbit, those levels are a mess, my indicators are a mess....

was using eco2new and priceaction swing pro, and double ma on 5min chart, but NONE of these has worked today. please advise...

This is a perfect day to get slaughtered with moving averages and such.....in my view we should end up lower unless we get to 761.5 and stay there.
We are in a choppy range obviously so you have to look for good signals at the edge of the range and expect to see some chop but also move your stop to break even as soon as possible.

We did get a breakout lower so in my view we are headed that way but that is taking a lot of heat and like I said is not invalidated until it breaks through the top of the range and stays there.

I looked for a retest and failure when it came back to 756 and saw nothing at that point so I just continue to watch for a pinbar or something that would tell me it's done pushing up.

At this point a pinbar anywhere should cap it off and it should make new lows...(as long as it is under 761.5 like I said).

Anyway to get to the point just look for trades at the edges.

Edit: It is imperative that you get good PA to go off of......don't jump on half-assed signals, just wait.
It is possible that it just took out the low and might go set new highs and keep going.....get PA..

I like to keep an eye on zn these days.

as long as we don't get a higher high today, I'll remain long in tf.

i like the 5min chart for all confirmations....but damn that tf moves fast. my first couple days trading sim i was getting destroyed just from being stopped out, then right as rain, it would move in my anticipated direction.

favorite short term indicators? i've tried perry's, but now i'm flipping between better_volume, still using double ma, and priceaction swing pro.....

Sounds good, I can't argue with upside possibility...I think it we get above 762ish it will likely run up nicely but I'm still looking for PA to go short in the mean time.

I'm pretty much just a candlestick guy....never had much luck with all the rest of it but do look at some other stuff occasionally.

Not a good day to mess around, but let see how this one does. I will be watching my targets and stops closely.

Oh, those are patterns drawn by hand based on levels.

By the way, for indicator guys, oscillators would have fine today with some patience and wider stops.
