Out of curiousity, anyone trading from Seoul, South Korea?

If so, which instrument do you guys trade? For me, I mainly trade ES and CL

Also has anyone tried trading Kospi200 futures using interactive brokers?

Compare to Brokers in Korea, IB seems to have much higher commission rate, but they provide lower intraday margin. Any info on this would be helpful!

I never trade while based permanently in Seoul, but I do frequent the city on business. I still know traders there.

I tried the Kospi futures with IB years ago -- made small bucks, but nothing worth mentioning. I was not aware that there were Korean brokers that have significantly lower commission than IB.

I used to be in Korea. Traded US markets, but dabbled with KOSPI options for day trading with IB. Very, very liquid markets. Think you may need an account with IB based in the UK now though to trade Korean markets.
