This thread is for people to post their tips and tricks.

Perhaps you've noticed little things along the way or picked up useful guidelines that may be of service to others.
You can post a short video (or if video challenged then a brief description and someone else can make a video).
Some else might post a tip or trick and you are reminded of ideas on it and add-on comments.

If your video is a new topic then you can put that in the editable post at the beginning of the thread's table of contents with the title and a link so later readers can go directly to a video of interest to them.

If it's an add-on comment you could include the tip or trick title you are commenting on in the comment title of your post. To keep it tidy try not to quote vast long amounts of text.

All constructive and positive comments are welcome.

peace, love and joy to you

The "trend" depends on the time length or distance you select.
The video to find the mulitday trend for the context of day trading.
So if you are in a multiday downtrend that can influence you view of the smaller trend the intraday trend.
Here we are looking at moves of 30pts plus in the ES to be the multiday trend.

We then assess where we are in the multiday and how it might impact tomorrow's trend.
  • How to draw a trendline
  • how to assess when a move is completed
  • how to judge how far the current move might run
  • the impact of stop-running on (possible) pushes past resistance
