I didn't do much with my old journal and eventually let it fade away. It was during a difficult time in my life and I simply didn't have the motivation to keep it up to date.
But fast forward to almost a year later, and things have changed. I've worked hard to refine my trading style and overcome some personal challenges that were holding me back. While my circumstances have shifted, and I'm no longer able to trade every day, I've found a new rhythm that works for me. These days, I usually trade three times a week, always during the London open. It's been a journey, but I'm proud of the progress I've made. Of course, I still have plenty to go.
I've decided to start a new journal to hold myself accountable and to invite feedback and questions from fellow traders.
Narrative will be based off composite value areas, developing value areas, significant levels, and executing off a footprint chart. I use concepts from NADRO, FT71 and Axia Futures.
I'm excited to see where this new journal will take me and to learn from the insights of others along the way. Trading can be a lonely game, but with a community to support and challenge me, I know I can grow and improve.
