Hello, I want to share my algo that I worked on before retiring, but now I am looking at it, and see it has potential. I want to share it here for those starting or learning easylanguage. So Run it and test it.
The Premise is that it basically is a moving average crossover but that's where the similarities end it uses a Step Moving Average and the stepsize can be adjusted.
So the signal is the regular Step Moving Average and the Delayed Step Average of an RFTL which stands for Reference Fast Trend Line. Each with its specific settings. These two generate the Buy or Sell signal.
I like going long only most of the time for ES. But for other instruments, you can turn on both long and short. I tested both ZB and ZN and got some good results too.
Also, the default position size is 3 and the algo has 3 profit targets it intends to fill or it will break even or end up with a loss.

Here is an equity curve with 100 trades. It is trading 3 at a time so it's more like 33 trades.

I recommend this Algo be used for a combine and not traded in a live account as you can see at the end of the equity curve it lost like 5 straight.
I hope you guys find some use for it. This is the culmination of all I have learned here at futures.io. And I am sharing that is all.
