I am commencing my journal journey for the May challenge. I am relatively new to day trading and have been trading for just over a year now and still learning.
I have identified three key areas which I see as important for me to have a good grasp of. contextual knowledge of the market on various time frames., along with money management and sizing and psychological attitude of being very self-aware of mental and emotional states while trading.
I am trading the AUS200 futures as I live in Melbourne Australia. I have been doing a course with Open Traders which is based on Market auction theory using volume profiling indicators along with their own methods of trading.
I usually just trade in the mornings attempting to get two or three trades. I do a daily plan before the market opens. A top down approach getting some context for the day. I also look at the S&P500 for confluence as it trades during our night and it gives an indication what the AUSX200 will do.
