I have search the forum and it seems like most threads related to foreign brokers haven't received many replies in the last years so I decided to post my first thread.
After several years of studying this profession I think I'm finally able to start trading futures with a live account, and an edge! My trading style is very close to scalping and applies to almost all futures products, so I wanted to ask the community what you'd recommend in terms of european brokers/platforms.
I currently reside in Spain, where Tradovate is not available, so my options for a low commission broker that offers a decent platform (cumulative delta, volume profile, compatibility with jigsaw tools, etc.) are practically none. I didn't want to pay 1k for a Ninja lifetime license but it looks like Ninjatrader7 + IB is the best option available. I tried NT8 since I read the program had been built from scratch targeting a more efficient functioning and wasn't able to select/move a chart object I had drawn 3 seconds ago, and judging by the amount of problems people have reported in the past years it is kind of scary to find myself stuck with a lifetime license of NT8. Knowing that a lifetime license of NT is the cheapest purchase in the long run, I'm not sure how to feel about a lifetime license of NT7 either if NT7 was not built targeting efficiency.
For those of you who reside in Europe and trade futures, what has been your Brokerage & platform solution?
I'm really hoping you guys can help me - Thank you in advance.
