I'd like to ask veterans and estemeed member of this forum the following question
a) Do traders go flat even with futures by end of "regular" trading day ? By that I mean, do people close all their contracts by 4PM eastern time ? Because in my trading system that I've been trying, I am confused if I should close the position by 4PM or let it run till day end ? Given the low liquidity level past regular time, I don't know how to decide.
b) What would be a good EV (Expectancy) for TF/CL/ES to believe in the system ? Assuming 1-2 trades max. per day and assuming I arrive at an EV after looking at 16 months of data. Another debate I have is if I should increase the number of trades or the number of contracts per trade.
