Hello MG enthusiasts,
I was hesitant to start another thread on the subject but thought there is no harm in investigating and stirring debate. And if for no other reason - to have fun with the tool I will be uploading.
I will be sharing a drawing tool in the NT8 section that needs some background of its evolution and its design.
I too stumbled across TTP a couple of years ago in the search for geometry tools for NT.
While using and watching Dan, I always felt there had to be more to it than the typical methods. I thought there had to be a way to better measure and quantify what we drew.
What I came up with isn't revolutionary by any means, but I think its one of a kind.
I took the typical fib channel tool with median lines and added fib dots to the channel as well as my sliding OME (opposing median lines) to it.
When you import the zip file (NT8 only), you will find the draw tool listed at the bottom of the drawing tools (pencil icon). There are three individual channels there that you can template as you like.
Once on the chart, you can open the properties and change colors and designate the fib dots you want to see.
From the right-click menu you can hide or expand lines left and right.
I have included a channel template of how mine is set up.(Terrible at color combo's so apologizing in advance).
This gets put into the templates/draw tool/dnchannel3
