Ok.. so far im looking for possible alternatives to ninja.... I naturally started with sierra charts since it natively supports a footprint tool like market delta, with market profile, and has historical bid/ask data backfill for less than $45/month... so no need to keep computer running endlessly..
I did a comparison between ninja and sierra today. So far its not bad. I had kinetic powering ninja and sierra powered by dtn..
Both charts were good, but i noticed that as the day went on, sierra did drop some data. Ninja did not through out the day. I made a live recording of it showing how the charts look different. On ninja, i changed chart settings, intervals, with no problems. Sierra unfortunately wasn't able to keep up. There is an easy solution with sierra, simply click and reload historical data, and everything is fixed(takes about 2 seconds), but you'll prob have to do that couple of times through out the day to make sure errors get fixed. I don't know if its a timestamp issue(maybe my computers clock was off by a second), but this didn't happen with ninja...
Other than that, ninja is much more flexible in terms of settings and configurations. Also, sierra has no DOM( not a good one at least).
Im gonna see if i can try multi charts tomorow.... if they have a trial version available.
