As we near the release of NinjaTrader 8, I wanted to post this notice and provide a thread for conversion requests.
As you know, NT7 indicators will not work in NT8 without modification. Some will require only very minor tweaks that may take only moments, some will require major rewrites. Either way, we need a way to track them.
There are thousands of NinjaTrader 7 indicators on futures.io (formerly BMT). This means there is going to be a flood of requests for converting indicators to make them compatible with NinjaTrader 8. Please direct people to this thread.
This thread has been created in the Elite section, as the majority of indicators on futures.io (formerly BMT) fall under the Elite category. This way users can freely attach files here requesting conversion without worrying about breaking site rules.
For indicators that are posted in the futures.io (formerly BMT) Download section there is already a new category for NinjaTrader 8. After an indicator has been successfully converted and verified as working for NT8, please post it to the Download section. The download section is where completed indicators belong, as it is far easier to find them there in the future.
