A few months ago I read the first of Al Brooks' books on price action trading. I had heard the standard line that his first book was unreadable and was looking forward to checking out what looked like a well-structured, and complete, textbook on trading.
My impression was that if the new book was the well-written version, the first one must've been in hieroglyphics. In order to understand what was going on I needed to take (and re-organize) pretty detailed notes.
I've decided to post my notes up on the forum. Originally I was going to post them to the discussion thread on these books, but I put a lot of work into this so I'd prefer to keep things in the Elite Circle. I hope that's cool with the moderators.
I'll post a chapter or two a day. If I find re-visiting the first book interesting I'll continue by reading the next book. If I do that I'll keep all of my notes in this thread.
