I know this question gets brought up often, but If you'd indulge me, I'd like to resurrect it another time.
Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like the last several months have been very tough. Leaving me with the feeling like I'm barely able to keep my head above water. So I'm struggling to do everything I can to try to improve. Problem is, I'm not sure I'm even headed in the right direction anymore.
So, profitable traders, I'm wondering what you guys did to get where you are.
What do you feel were the most important things you did?
I've heard both sides of the argument on SIM trading, what do you think? Do you think time spent trading old charts is time well spent? And how long does it take you to go through a chart?
How do deal with the psychological aspect, do you still feel anxiety before/during trades? And do you feel its possible to get to that state of mind where you're completely objective?
Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I'd really appreciate some pointers, to at least know I'm heading in the right direction.
Thanks, Forthinords, a struggling trader.
