Hello I have been lurking on Futures.io for about a year and I have been trading for about 2 years. I have realized that one of my biggest hurdles in trading is consistency from a time management stand point. For that reason (and many others) I am interested in learning how to properly build and test strategies. My issue is that I'm clueless on coding. My question is the following: I'm wondering if I use Bloodhound on Ninjatrader to build a strategy (since I don't know coding), if I will still be able to run all the proper testing and simulations needed to see if it is a viable strategy (Monte Carlo, Walk Forward, etc.). I have read most of Kevin Davey's book on building algorithmic trading systems. I'm am interested in taking his class but don't want to jump into something I can't handle because of the coding issue. And yes I am extremely nervous and skeptical about buying any course from a vendor. Like most people here I have wasted too much time and money on indicators and "mentors" who don't/can't trade! Bloodhound appears to be more of a tool than an indicator and I'm ok with that IF it actually works to build and test strategies the proper way.
Any advice or knowledge is greatly appreciated!
