I have some 3rd party software (from RightLine Trading) with two indicators I'd like to use for automated trading. In the parameters within Plot1 I can set them to paint various plots like a dot, triangle, etc, and in the 'visual' section I can specify the color I want to plot for down vs up signals. I want to write a strategy for a trade entry condition when both indicators paint the signal for a long or short (along with perhaps other conditions). When writing an NT strategy I don't see a way to 'see' the indicators' condition. I believe the vendor has 'protected' the indicators. And I don't know the exact logic used to paint the indicators. In the Data Box, the value of the indicator is simply reflecting the offset from the current price at which the dot or cross would paint, BUT the name 'Plot1' reflects the color of the dot or cross IF one is painted, otherwise the cell is transparent.
Can anyone advise whether it's going to be possible to write a condition based on whether these indicators are painting? Or is there any software that can react to the plot being painted on the chart?
