From what I gather NT dosnt give the best results on minuite bars and according to some any winners should actually be losers, add to that you cannot use renko or exotic plus the issue of "granularity" whatever the hell that is. So basically back testing results on ninja is all lies and there is no point?
Then I'm reading people saying even replay data is not much different, but u can introduce slippage or download dome other programme or plug in to compensate for something else.
So my question still stands, if its all inaccurate... What's the point?
And is there any system that can acuratley and reliably backtest.
Or have you got some exact step by step instructions to set ninja to do it right In which case why don't they just use that as the default.
Lastly would I be correct in saying the more larger the timebase - the less lag/slippage/ granularity is going to matter as there will be plenty of time to get an entry anyway? We are only talking mili seconds right. Couldn't be a hell if a lot of difference even if it is fast news reaction.
Is my problem a common one or am I picking it up all wrong? Is there a point to back testing?
Frustrated thanks to whatever you can contribute, please explain like u would a five year old.
