Hello

I need to count how many periods since the last lowest low. I already got the Lowest value.

TLLow = Lowest (Low, 10) // give the lowest price of the last ten periods]

// How many periods since TLLow ????

I am not sure if there is a MRO and LRO (most recent/least recent occurrence) in EasyLanguage.

So there is probably an easier way, but I would just take the simple way out:

Code

vars
:

myLow (0),

myLowBar (0);

if
date <> date[1then begin
  myLow
Low;

myLowBar CurrentBar;
end;

if
myLow then begin
  myLow
L;

myLowBar CurrentBar;
end
I've not tested the code but I think you see what it does. myLowBar would always have the bar # of the last low. So if you needed to draw a trend line you could start it from "CurrentBar - myLowBar" bars ago.

A simple approach. Sometime there is no need to look deeper for a solution. hehe!
