How to determine a chart is refreshing instead of plotting in real time ?
I need to perform some functions and calculations when I first open a chart and it is refreshing based on the lookback setting. Or do I have to wait for the LastBarOnChart and then go back in time to do the calculations ? For instance, I need to get the avg daily profit for the last 10 days.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
one approach could be to calculate the values bar by bar as the chart progresses if this is possible. For your example you could track the avg daily profit for every day and keep a running total of the last 10 days within an array.
