Hi Everybody,
So I know how to calculate spreads, and analyze inter market relationships using multiple data streams, but then realized that one of Larry Williams’ indicators “WillVal” is able to pull up data from GC without GC being anywhere on that chart. In fact , that same study allows you to change the input symbol you’re comparing data 1 to, without that symbol ever being added as a data stream. So my question is: does anybody know how this is done? Is there a function that calls data from another symbol without having to add that second symbol to the chart?
Thanks,
a Price Series Provider can provide data from other symbols without physically adding this data stream to your chart. You can find a lot of example codes in the official forum that should get you going.
Is there any documentation out there you are willing to direct us on the psp? I got the Easylanguage essentials, but says nothing of newer additions like data and news providers (as far as I can tell) The forums are great, but too specific to the inquire if you know what I mean..
PS: I decided to piggyback on this tread not to ask the very same question
