I am a programmer (Java, Ruby, Python) and new to EasyLanguage. I have a technique I want to put into EasyLanguage and I am testing out some scripts on a demo account in ApexTrader. I have the following script in a Emini chart:
Inputs: Window(2);
Buy next bar at 2079 limit;
This will create a limit order at 2079 (Emini currently around 2083). However, if i say "Buy next bar at market" I can compile the script no problem but no order is created. Can you explain this? I have tried searching online for answers but EasyLanguage documentation seems to be sparse. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks for you your time.
