Hello,
It's my first post here.
Im testing Multicharts demo 5.5. great sofware but i found a bug with Bar Magnifier function.
With a trading system in 60 minutes Bar and the famous Bar Magnifier function (who allows to verify the prices of exit by looking in the bars of the smallest unit, if you choose the smallest naturally. Here it is 1 minute) + Trailing stop.
I have very big differences with the system this time in 1 minute bar (the smallest which I have dated it).
The entry price are the same, on the other hand the prices of exits differ strongly and it according to the graphs 1 min or 60 min.
Naturally, in 60 minutes, better exit prices. While verifying trades made in the list and on the graphs I had confirmation of the error.
On the other hand, i had an equity so beautiful in 60 minutes, that I said to myself that it was too beautiful to be true. Indeed.
Roughly, in 60 minutes, a great system with hallucinating equity and Max drawdown more than acceptable and the other in 1 minutes is a winner too but with 4 times as important Drawdown.
The Setdollartrailing (Profit target) is the same.
Entry price are the same on the 2 basckest and exit price are differents.
Here you can find the picture for trade example...(i don't have verified all the trades but i have saw false exits price to understand that there is a bug)
Enter price on the 2 backests is tha same : 6282 It's ok.
Exit price in 1 minute charts 6255.5
Exit price on 60 minutes chart : 6236
Same entryprice
Same Setdollartrailing
Same commissions
Same Slippage
Bar Magnifier ! Back test precision option is on 1 minute on the 60 minutes chart.
Intra bar Order Generation is disabled for the 2 charts.
Bar magnifier is disabled on the 1 minute chart. Normal beacuse it is the smallest data format that i've got.
Who can help me please..?
