hey guys, i'm trying to port some code to NT but my Easy Language knowledge is holding me back.

can someone explain what the "Log" term is doing here so i can write something for ninjascript?

Data = 0.25*Log((1+Value)/(1-Value));

what is "Log" doing here?

Data= is current bar equals

0.25*Log is one quarter of whatever log(?) is

( Value) is a number between .9999 and -.9999 so

(1+Value)/(1-Value) is a positive number (ratio) between 20,000 and .00005

thanks in advance for any help

so if there was a piece of EasyLanguage code that was

Data = 0.25*Log((1+Value)/(1-Value));

would that be base 10 or base e?

what would the default be, i guess is my question?

It's the natural logarithm, so base e.
