indicator for open tick of bar/day/session

hey all..

i just want to plot a horizontal line/dotted for the open price of day or session but the problem i have is when i change the time scale from say 5min to 10min then it plots the open line at 'zero' and my chart becomes useless...

it seems the problem derives from the fact that the end time of the bar is referenced not the open time so if i say pplot open price at 0600 and i am using 5min charts then i need to type in 0635...so if i change the chart to 10min chart then there is no bar 0635 hence the plot of zero...

any help appreciated

both reference bar end time

plot1(opend(0));

This will plot the opening price of the day regardless of resolution.

So simple -- just what I needed -- one other question -- how can I get it to plot the open price beginning at 1700 ( 5 PM EST ) and ending next day at 1645 (4:45 PM EST ) ?
