Very simple easy language Help

i have a set of conditions that will return true or false. Lets say i have condition1 to 5. i want condition1 and 2 happen 2 bars earlier and condition3 1 bar earlier then execute a buy.

but i just cant make it happen, it said Types are not compatible. this is what i did.

if condition 1 or condition2 = true and condition3 or condition4 = true then buy next bar at market;

but how can i make it two bars earlier for condition1 or 2 and one bar earlier for condition 3 or 4?

so what should i do to make it work?

any help would be greatly appreciate.

thanks

When evaluating condition1, use the bars index to go back 2 bars.

condition1 = Average(C, 20)[2] > C[2];

This would look at the SMA and the Close from 2 bars ago.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.

you can also use some combination like MRO/LRO ( most/least recent occurrences) to check - how recent was the last event occurred.

Would see if I can find the syntax for it.

Thanks.
