sorry messed up on my post accidentally Here we go.

First you need to set up 2 data series on a chart. The base data series should be the one you want to view, ie 5 tick range chart in your case. You can make the second data series invisible in the Style tab of the Format Instrument dialog box of the second data series ( 10 tick range bar in your case ). Then use the following code. Data1 in the code is your 5 tick range bar and Data2 in the code is your 10 tick range bar. The following example plots the 20 bar EMA of the 5 tick range bar and the 10 tick range bar on the 5 tick range bar chart.

Code
Inputs:  Price(Close),
           Len(20);

Variables:   ema1(0,data1),
                ema2(0,data2);

ema1 = XAverage(Price,Len) of data1;
ema2 = XAverage(Price,Len) of data2;

Plot1(ema1,"5tickEMA");
Plot2(ema2,"10tickEMA");
That should do it.

can you show me how to do this with strategys aswell?

TonySarlo,

you can use the same code, except get rid of the plots in your strategy. Just set your chart up to have 2 datastreams and you are good to go.

ABCTG

evelina,

Tradestation will not allow you to combine non time based intervals on one chart directly. There are a few possible approaches within TS, but they all require complex coding.
One way this could be accomplished is by using Price Series Providers (PSP) within code and compute indicator values on PSP data internally.

ABCTG
