Auto Trend Line for NT7

Found on the Ninja Trader Site:

Description
This is an indicator NinjaTrader_Ray published for the September 07 issue of Stocks & Commodities magazine. Converted it to NT7 by fixing the DrawRay code break.

To Import
1. Download the attached file to your desktop
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
3. Select the downloaded file

Automatically draws a line representing the current trend and generates an alert if the trend line is broken. 0 = no signal, 1 = buy signal on down trend break, 2 = sell signal on up trend break

strategy for "Congestion Box For Range Bars" indicator

On this site, someone posted a "Congestion Box For Range Bars" indicator. The attached is a strategy that takes signals based on the congestion box concept, but slightly different in that this strat takes a trade long or short on the bar immediately following the last bar in the congestion box. Currently, the strat is coded so that it runs on currency futures (6A, 6E, etc.) or crude futures (CL). You'd have to adjust the breakeven, stop and profit targets by multiplying by 10, I believe, to run on spot fx.

P.S. If you get a score of 777, that means there were no trades that met the criterea. I score of 888 means there were less than 52 trades in a year's time and a score of 999 means the strategy had no losing trades making it not viable.

Heiken Ashi with colored tails

I found this HA indicator on NT site. Colors HA candle wicks with the actual candle color. Also allows HA to be viewed as an indicator line and lets you choose the amount of smoothing.

NT 8 Market Replay data for ES

Contract: ES 06-22 - Multipart download ( why are these in chunks?)

Download and extract instructions:

Note this is a multi-part download.

You will need to download all parts before extraction.
Dowload and unzip all files in NT 8 replay folder Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\replay
Once an individual part has been downloaded it needs to be renamed according to the number in its sequence
For example, if you are downloading ES 06-21 part 4 of 11, once that file has finished downloaded, you need to rename it into "ES 06-21.7z.004"
Once all files have been downloaded and renamed, right-click on the first one and select "extract here"
Make sure to use the "Extract here" function as shown, and not the "Extract to" function, to avoid the creation of a folder within a folder
The archive will create a folder with the relevant front month and a series of .nrd files inside (one per day)

Note: the archive contains only the dates with the most volume for this contract, meaning, this is data relevant only to when the contract becomes the front month.

BigMike's BMT_Envelop in Easy Language Version

This is the EasyLanguage version of BMT_Envelop BigMike came up with.

I like the Averages & Fib Levels & since I use Tradestation, here is my version.

I made very minor changes for my use:
1. I changed 76.4% to 61.8%
2. I have commented the 100% & 161% plots (I find scaling of charts an issue with Tradestation)

Either of these changes can be un-commented very easily.

The inbuilt function in TS to get OHLC for the day is based on time so I had to customize to use sessions & have new functions attached as a part of ELD.

Changes from previous version:

1. Advanced divergence removed, simple divergence optimized
2. Separation to second MA is now available also when second MA is disabled.
3. Additional options at section 6.1 Paint Bars Type.
4. Additional options at section 5.4.1 Background mode.
5. DM filter is improved with more advanced options, filter result can be reflected to the followings: Paint Bars, MA line, Background, all options are listed at section 7.1.2
6. Fixed few minor bugs, also CPU performance should be slightly better after optimizing several parts in code.

Compatibility to previous templates: it depends on the options are used, changed properties may not keep its previous value.

Existing features:
1. Double MA capability (optional), each MA type can be doubled with any other MA type except momentums, which can be doubled with itself only.
2. Display real-time and history MA slope (normalized).
3. Divergence with second MA mode.
4. Display MA line colored.
5. Optional colored background.

7. The following coloring modes are enabled independently for MA line, background and paint bars:
1. By slope threshold.
2. By rising/falling.
3. By support/resistance mode (when time bar closes above MA line, it become a support, and vice versa).
8. By support/resistance mode with slope threshold.
9. By support/resistance mode with rising/falling.
10. Paint bars contain additional filter for specific trend type.
11. User defined text for slope box.
12. DM filter

Please remove previous version and restart ninja trader, before installing this release.
This new version comes as protected assembly.

RMI - Indikator

Description:
This Indikator is a little improvment, based on the well known RSI. Surprisingly it is not part of NT. The Idea is, to compare Momenti instead of Prices over a given Period. The Distance between the two Prices within a Momentum ist specified by the "Shift" Parameter.

How to Use:
Period works like in the RSI. With "Shift = 1" the RMI shows the same behavior like the RSI. While increase the shift, the RMI becomes smoother compared to the RSI.
---> Erich Florik "New Trader Dimensions" suggest Values like 3/8 or 5/13 for very clear and better Trendsignals compared to the RSI

Interpretation:
above the upper Line (70-80) we have an up-Trend, below the lower Line (30-20) we have a down-Trend. But UNLIKE the RSI we have no oversold/overbought Situation in these regions!

To Import
1. Download the attached file to your desktop
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
3. Select the downloaded file
