It depends on trading style, but for me is the best EURUSD.

The Yen is an obvious choice - I prefer the Aussie Dollar or �6A� contract especially if there is any data from China and obviously the RBA. It is not as volatile as some other currencies, but consistently banking 10-15 pips out of the average 40-50 pip daily range of the Aussie is significant when done with some size

The answer depends on whether your broker allows you to act as a market maker. This means you do not trade against the broker but rather against other traders in the pool. Interactive Brokers (IB) give you this option. Have experienced this myself. Gain Capital, reportedly, give you the option via DMA account but you would need to trade bigger notionals than via IB... One way or another, if market making is a possibility then European currencies contain much juice. I have made a perceptible amount of money this way.

What are the best currencies to trade during the Asian session? Anything in particular other than USD/JPY

If you can only trade that time of the day, just trade the daily charts......avoid the hassle altogether.
