Thanks for well thought out and extremely helpful post. Forex is by no means my first option, I just wanted to research and cover all of my options available, in doing so, I came across some info that seemed to look a lot better for trading (The fees and what not). After getting all of the responses here and my continued research afterwards, I don't see this being the market for me. I will instead focus my efforts to futures since I've picked up on it from the get go.

In the end, hopefully everyone who has and will stumble across this will get some valuable information from it and even throw in some concerns/advantages of their own.

Can I get your opinions. This mornings there was a major push up in the Euro and simultaneously in the pound and other currency's (on no fundamental data) denoting dollar weakness .. I can't see how individual traders operating in different currency markets can all decide direction at precisely the same time....so could this move driven by algo's?

I've noticed these kind of moves many times and it leaves me wondering..
