Anyone here a consistent winner with PROVEN results?
Just wondering, like many traders I'm looking for (and have been for about 3 years...egawd!) a simple system that is profitable on a consistent basis...like many traders, I've been hopping from system to system, and right now am testing another one (price action based, using 4H and 1D charts and 2 MA indicators...every month I've been tweaking the parameters but I am still losing, not much but I'm still not 100% convinced this one will work in the medium term...).
Anyways, to cut to the chase, is there a system here in these forums where the initial poster (or a regular user) backs up their results with one of those online chart sites that are hooked up to the MT4 platform? A friend of mine showed me how to do this, and I did at myfxbook.com/members/johnedward/wwwforex-centralnet/303302. It was a slight pain in the neck to setup, but once I did it, it was awesome to be able to share my results...even though the martingale system I used at the time didn't quite work out as planned...I bailed from using the system even though I only lost 1% of my 5000€ account
What I'm getting at is this: anyone here kicking ass on one of the systems mentioned in these threads here that are also hooked up to one of these websites that can display MT4 results in real time?
I realise that those people who are genuinely profitable are least likely to share their systems as they've "made it", but I still have hope that I can find winners that are willing to SHARE their success using one of those websites which actually show MT4 records in real time on one of these websites...
Your problem seems clear - you are looking externally for something to make you profitable.
Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.
Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? You are not the first and will certainly not be the last person to come here asking the same question. Finding someone elses system and using it is not what will make you profitable. I know this is not what you want to hear and will almost certainly go looking elsewhere if and when you don't hear what you want to hear here.
There are some very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful traders on this forum. Because they have "made it" as you say (or are on the right path), they realize that giving you a system to follow blindly will not make you a successful trader.
Here's something for you to consider:
On one hand you have huge firms involved in trading who invest billions of dollars in research & development of trading systems. They have some of the smartest mathematicians, scientists, programmers etc on the planet working for them. These guys are quite literally experts in their field and have billions of dollars backing them.
Then on the other hand you have retail traders. (Im leaving out prop firms because I feel they have additional resources not available to the run of the mill retail trader). Do you honestly think that a retail trader can simply copy someone elses system, blindly take the trades and head off to the beach every day while the money rolls in? Why would the large firms spend so much money on R&D if it was that easy. Why would there not be more full time retail traders making millions. It is what is inside the retail trader that makes them successful, not the system.
What makes a retail trader successful is themselves. It is their knowledge of the market, their mindset and psychology, their experience and their intuition, their risk profile, their trading rules, their business plan. Lastly after everything else is in place, the traders system plays a roll.
This forum is a wealth of knowledge. Do some searches, browse around and read everything you can here. Read the journals, read the Psychology section, watch the webinars. But dont just automatically go straight to the system threads.

Do you believe that if someone shows you a way that they trade...that you'll be able to trade it the way that they do? If you can't, does that mean that the method is not-profitable? Or, just not profitable with you trading it?
You seem to have started down a path of watching Daily and 4Hr charts with 2 moving averages. You should continue in that role, and keep getting screen time. I have a mentor that took 8 years to "get-it" and he most definitely could be considered to have "made-it". But, I don't always trade the way he does (2EMA/50EMA on EU on a 5 min chart). I have another mentor who has "made-it", but I don't trade the way he does either (3EMA/18SMA on EU on a 1min chart). I prefer to watch a 1 hour chart with no MA's on it...along with a 30min chart with a 2EMA/12EMA on EU or UJ.
But, without knowing what I'm watching for you couldn't confidently take trades with my methods without spending a lot of time applying them. And it's the confidence in the method that you won't have until you spend a couple of years with one.
That's why you should go back to your Daily/4hr charts with 2MA's and apply yourself to getting some screen time using your own methods. If you are unwilling to do that, and instead want someone to show you a winning method...expect to be disappointed many times in the future.
