traders,

For those already attending my trading room you can ignore this post

For those not aware I do offer a free trading room that is open from 2 am to 11 am cst daily to all traders who have spent time learning and have become comfortable with my methods rules and nuances that have been taught extensively through out this thread.

The room concentrates on seeing the setups occur on the right edge of the chart. You must be aware and comfortable with the general basics of how I trade to gain further knowledge of my trading style in the room as we concentrate on trading not teaching in the room

If you have been spending time and have become comfortable with the method by all means I will welcome you to the room and attempt to take your trading to another level.

In order to request access send me a PM through the forum or an email to [email protected] . I must have your email address in order to send you the link. In fairness to traders that have studied my method I control the access to the room this way to prevent distractions in the room. If you are still learning the method by all means post questions here in the forum as all questions are answered each day

I hope to see all interested in the room soon

Charles

Many thx for the thread cbooth and all.

I'm having trouble creating the latest 377T template ?

Could someone post:
Trigger Lines indicator
Trigger Line settings

Thx
(btw the Trigger Lines indicator in Downloads has a shaded area between lines that I can't remove
and doesn't seem to be the same version here ?)

change opacity to 0 to delete shaded area between trigger lines

I got in CJs class for the first time today. Noticed that our candles were closing at different times and
the candles at times had different values. Just wanted to make sure what session I should be using.
I had the same tick chart setup, is there anything else that could cause the discrepancy?
Thanks

Normally tick chart candles are not the same due to traders loading their charts at different times. Also your data feed may be different from the data feed of charts you are comparing with. Not much can be done about that.

Here is the setup I asked about in the trading room today. As you can see my charts (Sierra Charts) with Transact datafeed look different than those using NT, especially the ZigZag indicator which did not draw a swing on the way up on the doji at 1.4473. So in my charts, I did not get a lower low on the swing before the entry. I got the explanation from Charles, but just wanted to post the chart for reference. I eventually got out after seeing two consecutive dojis at 1.4483.

Charles, i saw your video and as usual this is quite relevant info. There was a potential setup that occured at around 9:45 CST or 10:45 EST which is interesting and may seem difficult to evaluate but i am ready to share one of my closely guarded secret as you have been so generous with us.

I mainly use this approach to better time my entry when a congestion is forming right at a resistance or support. As you'll note, i am using the MACD with Bollinger bands to time my entry and to detect when price is most likely to make an attempt at breaking the ice. This interpretation alone has saved me lots of money.

nice charts,

someone in the room mentioned talking indicators that help alert to potential trade spots, anyone have this?

or could post link for download

I don't use indicators to give alert, since they are LAGGING

I use price action pattern to alert me the potential move, on the chart, there are 2 bear flags, one is good, the other is not

First flag:

1. bear flag forming

2. channel line overshoot gives me reason to short(scalp)

3. strong breakout of flag: ready to enter

4, enter at retracement. I got 21 ticks

https://screencast.com/t/JfUnAOJplt

Second Flag: failed flag, but good long

1. bear flag forming

2. failed micro trendline breakout: enter for scalp but will see reaction at top channel

3. price straight up with strong breakout

4. hold for 21 ticks target

the third trade is regular retracemen to 13MA, nothing special. I think everybody got it

Some people asked my settings for other symbols, here they are:

6E -> 1508 short term 1508/4
Max: 23t
Avg: 11t
Min: 8t

NQ -> 1200 short term 1200/4
Max: 25t
Avg: 15t
Min: 11t

ES -> 3200 short term 3200/4
Max: 12t
Avg: 7t
Min: 5t

This is based on the fact that if the S&P moves 1 point, the Dow will move 10 points, the NASDAQ will move 2 points and the RUSSELL 1/2 point. So using the MAX[100], MIN[100] and EMA[100] applied to the ATR[14] i got these numbers.
